LOTW.
Loons, Eagles, fishing and not seeing another boat all day, good friends, beautiful scenery, and ...
oh yeah, big fish!
Can't wait until July!

Lake St. Clair
Even if you see 60-80 boats across the horizon on this big water it doesn`t seem crowded.
Also you have a chance at several fish caught in a day and a chance at a 50" 30 pounder. They may not be the fatest fish in the world but it is a great time.
Clear water a lot of the time you can see the fish 3/4 of the way in while you reel it in it is very exciting.
On calm days it is relaxing beautiful blue water everywhere and you can troll and enjoy your fishing partners in conversation all days and create great memories by catching large fish.

Big Sissabagama in Stone Lake, Wisconsin.

Decent in both numbers and size, though to be perfectly honest, not always a good producer of fish for me. That doesn't matter, it's the beauty of the Northwoods, the fresh air, the clear night-time skies, and my long history of fishing there. I have fished some nice waters, but for me, being at my family's cabin on Big Siss is what it's all about!

Kinkaid is my favorite Illinois water, so in a perfect world I would live and fish in both places! What's everyone elses's (who don't already live the dream) perfect North/South combination that would allow you to fish pretty much year round?

Favorite North/South combo would be LOTW and Kinkaid. Couldn't get much better than that!

Cedar and Cliff Lakes in NW Ontario, Vermilion in MN, or Kinkaid in southern IL. I could pretty much be stuck on one of those lakes everyday until I die and be a happy guy. Not only because they have big fish, but because they're relatively undeveloped and you can really capture the 'true' musky experience. All I need to do now is win the lotto so I can bounce back and forth from lake to lake all year round.

In terms of tiger muskie fishing,I would have to say Lake Mayfield in southwest Washington. This lake produces tigers in the 30lb.bracket and is located in the foothills of the Cascade Range and within minutes of Mt.St.Helens. Also has a nice population of large and smallmouth bass.

30 years fishing the Big Chip and it still does it for me. One of the most beautiful places to fish anywhere. However, Green Bay has now become my favorite water to fish in WI and it has been for years. Too bad others now know of it. Vermillion is my favorite in MN, a mini LOTW!

The Ottawa River, the St. Lawrence River, Nipissing, Eagle, LOTW, and Georgian Bay all are my favorites in Canada. Nothing like the Canadian wild country for beautiful scenery, wildlife, and great musky fishing!

Hi,

For me there is only one place. Dryberry would be it. Its a hard lake. Clear water, weather sensative, fickle fish at best and did I mention one of the most pristine places I've ever been. For me its becoming more about the expierence and less about the size of fish. Don't get me wrong I do have the oppurtunity and have caught some large fish. However, there are many lakes with a lot better chance at a 50" fish on. Other lakes like Vermillion, Lotw, Eagle, Mille Lacs and many others. I can't really explain my love affair with the lake but thats another reason I keep going back. Dryberry has a spiritual quality too it. Maybe at this point in my life thats what I need or maybe its just what I wanted.

Cass Lake. This is where I caught my first muskie and where I learned to muskie fish. It's endless structure and weary fish make it a challenge to fish. It holds some monsters.
