Anyone have any experience using these reels? Thinking about picking up a 20 levelwind, but no one has them around to check out. It's going to be either the 20 or 30, but I am worried about weight.

Any input would be great! Thanks

I would also be interested in some feedback about Daiwa Saltist 20 as my Penn went on the fritz this week.

The 20LW has been incredible to fish with for the past month now of really fishing with it. You really have to pay attention to the spool tension and don't overfill the reel with line or it will get away on you. The power is dominating, I was basically dragging fish in with no effort. Our big double 10 lures were no problem, easy to pull. I will probably add another one to my assortment soon.

Between WI, IA, and MN I have about 100 hours on my Saltist 40 LW this season. I would agree with others that the reels require fine tuning (tension and spooling) but once they are dialed in they are fantastic! Manually engaging the spool became second nature after a few hours and adjusting my grip to accommodate the large body was seamless. I'm considering a 20 for slow rolling big blades at night.
