Buddy of mine and I were fishing the French on the inland river side in central Ontario last week and... hmmm my buddy "ran" into this fish bumpen a 8ft weed flat finger point. The first ten minutes we thought it was for sure it was a 50+lb muskie... 45 mins later, there it was, 6-1/2ft sturgeon. estimated weight is anywhere from 85 to 100 lbs. Disappointed it was not a huge muskie, but definitely a first for use. I know you can catch pretty much anything on a 10" weighted Suick, but common. Fish of a life time and a great story to boot.
Had an alright muskie week with a 49", 45", (2) 43's and a 36". Saw some real big fish that we just could not get to go. Few nice pike and smallies too. Dad caught his PB 49" the one day he came up to visit. Thought i would toss up my dads fish too.

ya ya, Muskie... Oh man I wish the sturgeon was a muskie. No need for a replica on my dads fish, he liked it but we are waiting for a 50 pounder before I mount. That or until I end up with a kill at the boat. Fingers crossed, no kills yet.
