I went down to help with the netting of the muskie's today, it was the first time that I've had the chance to help with anything like this. it was a good time, we netted 22 muskie's and 6 walleye's. the biggest muskie was low 40" and the biggest walleye was 30"ish. only one injury and that was when the muskie decided to pay me back for moving him and he nipped at my hand and got me in the palm
Wish I could have made this one. Ended up banging my knee up pretty bad an hour before I was going to leave.
Just want to say thanks to everyone that goes and helps out. As much as I dislike Shabbona and hate seeing the fish being taken out of the creek (preventing them from making it down to the Fox River for me to catch), it is an awesome experience and a great thing for the lake.
Anyone know how the plan for the fence below the spillway is working out?
