About:

I went to Alexandria Tech after High School and graduated the Law Enforcement Program in 99'. Then I worked in a very small department as a police officer for about 8 months which was more than long enough!!! Then moved to my current town, bought a house and started working as a police officer here. I was severly stricken by the muskie bug in 2003, my time with the MN National Guard was up and I was also married this same year to Shelly.

Currently I am living in West Central MN with wife Shelly and our son Drake and we are expecting another little one in October. I fish, shoot and waterfowl hunt any chance I get and also work for the county doing boat and water patrol, I am a county search and recovery diver and I am also a SWAT team leader.

Favorite Fishing Memory:

Boating my first 50+, 52 to be exact, of course I was by myself and had no one to celebrate with let alone help with the picture and release but it all worked out, got 2 great photos and released her unharmed and I even heard she caught again around the same area 2 weeks later by another angler. So that was pretty cool.

Favorite Waters:

Any place I can get to and fish on.

Favorite Style of Fishing:

Fishing buzz baits shallow in the slop and emergent vegetation.

Favorite Lures:

LOW rider, Reef Hawg, Warlock, Jackpot, Mag. Bulldawg, Musky Buster Bucktail and a few others.
