- Yes! Jerry! I must of seen one of your huge, Muskie replicas in that
Vilas County area. It is really beautiful up there...I had over two hundred
lures that I field tested up there! I must of learned at least 5 extra hot
spots...A story of one of my fish (Muskies) that I caught is kind of cool!
I was waiting for my fishing partner. So, on the pier...I said, "Why not
loosen up?" So, I kept casting with The R.T.K. Lure...It was excellent
as about 59 casts a Muskie hit it...It was smaller like @29"...But, it was
interesting as when a Muskie really wants something, he'll hit it even if
you have to roil him up a little"!

Looking for some suggestions for a friend on places to stay in mid sept. Any place nice on the detrioit lakes worth checkin out? Also saw a resort on Pelican lake ,but really don't know alot about the fishery . Heard of some big fish in Pelican but does it also hold decent numbers too? Some place to stay off the water would be good to as long as its centrally located . By your pics it looks like your the man in that area, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks take care
