I went this weekend. Water temps were in the upper seventies in the morning and up to 83 in the afternoon, so still a little too warm

I agree, wires may be too small but also check your connections. I was having trouble with my circuit brakers popping and I thought I needed bigger wire but it was actually the loose connections....causing more resistance. Tighten down all of the co…

I don't know how the afternoon went because I left after lunch. I don't think Manny and Jim caught anything in the morning.

I did my undergrad in Aero E at Iowa State (I'm originaly from NE Iowa). I did my masters in ME at Wash U. We have a lot of Purdue grads around here. My old boss went there. I'm not suprised you have ISU guys working there. ISU has a huge Civil\Construction engineering program. A lot of my buddies in college took that route.
