Way to go Gary, great fish. See you down at Kinkaid this fall. Dane and I will be fishing next Saturday. Hopefully this fall will be as good as last year.
My biggest issue with the Jackpot is that after you use it for a while, the hooks start to wear the sides of the bait. After that starts to happen, the hook points continually dig into the soft spot and get stuck, which causes the bait not to work p…
I agree, wires may be too small but also check your connections. I was having trouble with my circuit brakers popping and I thought I needed bigger wire but it was actually the loose connections....causing more resistance. Tighten down all of the co…

Hi Larry,
YES! Cabin Fever is setting in. We too have a whole new box of lures to try from the Chicago show. Hope to be able to get out in the next couple of weekends, if the weather stays nice.
Larry, fish are starting to come on strong on glidebaits. River is looking good and fish are moving. Danny Kurtilla and Wayne Bomar and his son got five today on gliders and x-raps and cranes. Going again tomorrow, and will give report. Come on down! Dwayne

Craig caught 3 in the moring. I had a fish follow 4 times (I think it was the same fish) back in one of those bays by buttermilk, but I could get her to bite. I don't know how the afternoon went because I left after lunch. I don't think Manny and Jim caught anything in the morning.
Hey Larry,
I did my undergrad in Aero E at Iowa State (I'm originaly from NE Iowa). I did my masters in ME at Wash U. We have a lot of Purdue grads around here. My old boss went there. I'm not suprised you have ISU guys working there. ISU has a huge Civil\Construction engineering program. A lot of my buddies in college took that route.
She did! A 39" and a 45". Both fish were caught next to the boat. She was pretty proud they didn't pull her in the water! I'm going to send out pics tonight. I'll make sure you're on the cc.
