Shabbona is a very hot and cold lake. More than any other lake I have fished, out there I get a "feeling" on how the day is going to be based on the first couple of hours fishing. I can definetly see why guys hate it...hp limit, overcro…

hell ya drop me a line when ya get down here. There is some great fishing in the area. I'm always down to musky fish, but there is some smoking bass lakes as well. My schedule is cake next semester so i'll just have to keep myself busy fishing, ah shucks right! most my buddies bass fish and don't have the balls to cast all day for a ski, so i spend alot of time out on kinkaid by myself. tough to pattern fish that way, so i'm always down for a buddy in the boat.

- Aint been to shelbytown yet. I've been out a bit in INDY and Northern ILLY. THats interesting about Shabz, I've head they've been active there lately! NOt sure where yet, but I'm fishing 2 days this weekend. Shabby is pretty clear right now, right?

Not sure on temps since boat is getting worked on. I would tend to say temps are close to 34 and lake might be iced over. If I get over to the marina I will shoot you an email back.

- been good man, how bout you? that one in Mik Lurch is a 47, it was nice and chunky too! There is no cover charge, you don't have to bring cans (but you should), just bring some money for raffles and drinks if you want. Give me a call if you have trouble finding the place, I'll be up there early if you want to hang a little beforehand.
