I'd love to catch any size muskie any day, and personally consider a 48 or 49" a BIG fish, but there's something special about those 50"s!!

Welcome to the site. I am new here also only a couple of weeks ----- you are right this is a great site. I live in Southern Illinois not as many muskie waters to choose from as you have but we are about an hour away from a quality lake.

- Was a die hard outdoors finatic about just about everything until I fished for muskies for the very first time on July 3, 2009. Caught my first muskie at 11:20 at night, a beautiful 45" fish.....then I really got spoiled when I caught a 51" 10 casts later...I have not been the same since...I have the muskie virus BAD!
