My highlight of 2008 was netting my wife's first muskie. It was a 41.5 incher and she got it in the dark on a top raider.

The Operation Muskie Online Auctions raised a combined total of $17,500!!!!

It was great to see a small group of people come together to raise a huge amount of money for this event. It was a privilege to play a small helping role in the festivities.

I didn't go to Canada last year, went to Vermilion instead. I never saw so many giant fish. I had one fish 55+ and 50lbs follow a Super Stalker to the boat only to turn off as I went into the 8. Only bagged a 36 inch dink. Overall best year to date with a 5 fish day the last day of the season 39.5 to 44.75 inches, lost three and had seven other fish up to the boat along with four pike in 4 1/2 hours on that last day. We shall see how this year turns out. Oh yeah thanks for the invite.
