ive broken the lips on at least 5 jakes in the last 3 summers. I find its the 14 inch and 10 inch jakes thats break the most. I havnt had a 6 or 8 inch break yet. But you gotta go through some baits once in a while and expect the lips to rip off eve…

Hey mike,
My wife and I were up to Wiley the first two weeks of August. We ended up with 29 musky, the biggest being 45,46,46,46,46,46.5 and Vicki got a 51.25" on the last day which really made the trip. We also just got back last Sunday from an 8 day trip to Georgian Bay. I caught 6 muskie with the biggest being 45.5" but I couldn't find the real big one I was looking for. Things have slow here in PA with a 46.5" being the biggest around here. How is your season going so far? You have some real nice new pictures.
hey mike, jonas guided us for three days out of Totem because the car quest group was staying at Wiley. We say quite a few fish with jonas, hooking up with a few and landing one around 42". The one fish I raised was between 51"-53". We were at Wiley the first two weeks of August in 2008. We had a pretty slow first week getting 11 fish but nothing big. The second week the fish really turned on for us, boating 20. One day we got 5 with a 49",50.5', and a 51". On the day before leaving I got a 48" and a 51.5". My dad and I made a week long trip back up for the first week of October 2008, which was tough. We got 7 fish with a 47" being the largest. My wife and I are booked at Wiley for the first 16 days of August this year.
